240 owners!!! I need help
Hey Guys I just totalled my GSR and i'm leaving the honda family to come to the nissan family. But i've been looking everywhere for a decent 240 in teh tristate area but they are either over priced or automatic. Does anybody know anybody trying to part with an s13/s14 or where i could find one. autotrader and cars.com don't have jack.

That was me i bet. Fast back is gone, if you want the Coupe i think my bro would take $700 but it's going to be a project. Car isn't pretty but it'd make a nice drift car/beater. If you want a show car though you're probably better off finding a nice one. Ad: http://www.superhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=265074
But yeah, 240's are overpriced as hell. I sold a 200k mile sohc fastback automatic with no rust for $1500 just to move it fast and my brother sold his 89 Coupe with close to that for $1800 (car was rusty too ). Me/him have been kinda picking up the 240's in the area from people that have no clue what they're worth
Random but just before this i was looking at a local ad for a sr20 240 with a bunch of jdm parts. 14k and the car wasn't running right AND the car didn't even have a title (s13 hatch). Pretty sure the guy is nuts because that car is worth about... 5k max.

damn i really want a 91+ 240 sx manual that's all some dude was selling his 98 LE for 7K and the shit was burning oil. I would get an RX7 but i don't feel like upkeeping a rotary. dealerships are selling 89 coupes with 140K for 4K. wtf. I'm getting 5418 from my GSR after my deductible so if i could find a decent 240 priced right i could end up wiht some money to upgrade. i'm trying not to dip into my savings account. what's insurance like on 240's? cheaper than my 97 GSR?

dude, be patient. It took me 1.5 years to find the right 240 for me. I only paid 2700 for mine, not a spot of rust, 115k, body kit, new paint, new tires on 17's. And it was only 2hrs away.

it looks pretty clean. also no spoiler = no hatch rust. I've heard people hitting 220k on the odo and their engines are still running fine. some people are boosted too lol.
but i wouldnt give him more than 2.5-3k for it. I dunno I'd have to see it in person.
oh yeah i posted in that thread too haha.

You wouldn't happen to know if you have a better way of contacting him. i Pm'd Him and posted

And my job this summer pays about 2K a month in cash give or take 200 bucks.
