A new CRX owner...
Hello there-I'm the new owner of a black 1989 CRX Si with a little over 152,000 miles on it. It drives very strong (previous owner had lots of engine parts replaced), but the interior is a bit faded since they never fixed the passenger window to shut completely and it sat for a few years. I'll take a few pics tomorrow and put them up for perusal.
I'm wanting to make it a daily driver and maybe fix it up a little for a few extra HP. Nothing fancy or anything. I've been here for a while, lurking, but I just purchased my CRX here a few weeks ago. I've got to replace the entire exhaust system, new tires, fix the sunroof and a few other things, but it drives like greased lightening.
I do have a quick question though-if any of you are from the Atlanta metro area (I live in Douglasville), is there a good junkyard to get CRX parts from around here? I'm needing the temperature control panel and both of the hood windshield fluid nozzles (someone took them out and all of the plumbing!) and having problems finding them within D'ville and close by. I'm also needing the replace the rear reflector also. If you know of a good place, please PM me...any help is appreciated.
I'm not new to cars nor Honda Civics (used to own a '94 Civic DX coupe), but new to the CRX model. Hoping to learn a lot in here.
