rip an audio track from a dvd movie and put it on cd?

Does your DVD player have an audio-out? Or are you just playing it in your computer?
You might be able to work something out hooking the DVD audio-out into the microphone jack on your compy.
I haven't seen any software that does it all on your compy though...there should be, it's a good idea.

I always wished that you could pop DVD's in your CD player and get the soundtrack...

you could use a program like soundforge to record the sound as u play the dvd on your pc.

ill look into that... does soundforge also have a way that i can divide that tracks up so its not on continous track?

play it on your comp and use the sound recorder.

the recorded file will be a wav file, and from there u can divide it into as many files as you want, and encode it as mp3 or whatever.

and the quality will be really shitty as well

get DVDXCOPY if you want to rip stuff.
