the thing was that the camaro from transformers was already the concept for the new camaro that was gonna debut wether transformers was made or not. they didnt redesign it for the movie. gm just jumped at the chance to get some publicity for it and payed a butt load of money to get the contract for the movie. so if pontiac has a concept that they were making for thata trans-am they will probably offer at the rights. as long as it doesnt look like the previous trans am that looked like a family car.
