just watched the movie, fuck it was pretty fun.

of course there were some corny bits here and there, but what's not to like. its not like the cartoon wasn't ever corny.
i enjoyed it a shitload for what it was. like most of anything spielberg puts his hands in, it flows well.

the CGI is fuckin intense, humour was generally in good taste. hell the product placement was far from a modern bond movie. they actually made shit look cool.

the amount of detail is just crazy. sometimes in some scenes a little too detailed that ur just striving to comprehend the fight scenes. but it hardly takes away from the whole experience and the sheer coolness of how it all looks.

but fuck it. i think you guys will like it for what it is.

Live Free or Dir Hard or Transformers..both look awesome as hell..

shit im seeing transformers on my birthday. Live free or die hard looks way over done for my 10.50 ill wait for that on video. i saw knocked up that shit was fucking funny as hell. i also saw ff2 that was cool. Do the robots talk in transformers or was it all like a silent thing with them only making screeching sounds?

think brand placement and marketing strategies, let alone VW isn't in much a position to display a new model beetle, they fail.

anyway, trust me jad, u'll quickly look past it all and this movie is the most fun in a cinema i've had all year.

GSR: tickets are booked out for the next 2 weeks in every cinema haha. every guy is talkin about it, some girls are hella into it, and some girls are sick of their partner's talkin about it. haha. its awesometown. so much fun.

Bumblebee is the new camaro that chevy is going to roll out soon. It looks great. And yea chevy is very strong in this movie. john you can look up all the cars online and what character they are its already available.

Kev i know interest in ny is strong cuz i went to see ff2 and they showed the trailer for transformers and it almost got a standing ovation then 15 minutes later they showed the same trailer AGAIN and people went nuts for it. Thats the first time in my movie going history that they showed a trailer twice during the same show. Cant wait Friday here i come.

watch it at premiere or close to. the crowd will also bring the atmosphere. ive never seen so much commotion while in a cinema. unless....of course....i was a kid. and thats what it brings outta grown-ups.

when u think about that.....THAT....is an extremely hard thing to capture

rottentomatoes.com gave it 88%.

That movie was fucking awesome. Best part is when Bumblebee kicks the girl outta the car and switches to the new Camaro. Unfuckingbelievable. That girl was soooooo hot.

Dave make time and go see it. I saw it friday and it was the greatest thing in the history of all things that were, are and ever will be great. Barracade was hot fucking saleen mustang was nice. I would buy one just to do it that way. Starscream was awesome, Megatron was crack (good thing). Shit was great and stuff blows up through out the movie which is a nice touch. Dave call in to work and tell them you have diharrea and go see this movie.

OK..... my review......

Movie was great..... not awesome... not insane...... but great. I'm a bit older than you guys and I really grew up with transformers and before them the originals....GoBots

Anyway, this is what bugged me....

Character's were really what they were in the cartoon (Megatron was a gun, BumbleBee is a VW) forget about marketing, I understand but still...I don't give a shit.

The transformers were never able to just shape shift into whatever they want just from viewing or contacting them. I know the who concept is false, but it's still somewhat believable that a car could transform into a robot. But it's not believable that the car could change sheet metal, glass, paint and rubber just from assimilating another object.

Why wee some of them so easily killed and others not. Why was the boom-box shot at 12 times and nothing happened but the hot bitch hit it once with a reciprocating saw and it's basically incapacitated????

Fight scenes were intense but you couldn't tell WTF was going on. Just a bunch of robots rolling around gettn' busy. they blended together too much during the fights with too much camera movement.

There's countless other things that bothered me, but those are the biggest.
