The Fast and the Furious : Tokyo Drift
I'm getting free tickets to watch the movie tomorrow.. could be going today but I have futsal so i'll go watch it tomorrow..
I just hope work don't spoil the plan and make me stay back and miss the movie..

i have mixed feelings about it. How is some cornfed whiteboy gonna go into tokyo with no drift experience and then beat guys who have been sliding around since they were in their moms stomach?? I mean seriously. Ill take it for face value. a way to kill an hour and 30 min.

alot of people who dont know a thing about drifting/sliding are going to take this movie as their holy bible of sport and think that whatever is in this movie is what drifting/sliding is all about. its going to give it a horrible name.

Im not too into drifting, but I like to think I have a decent understanding. so I cant wait to hear what dumb ricer fucks have to say after they see this movie  time to get my bullshit fishing gear ready, looks like the pond might be stocked nicely this summer |

lol for real. but seriously, i am looking forward to it. im gonna see it this weekend with my gf for laughs, they are good entertainment. i think this one is going to bring a lot of light to the drift scene but not in the best way. its gonna show jsut one aspect of it and not really do mch explaination. a lot of kids are gonna be on the streets and in parking lots trying to slide their civics and accords. but i dont think the ricer scene is going to change that much, there will just be a lot more stupid driving for the next few months.

Im seeing it at the drive-ins. me and a bunch of my friends are gonna cruise in there with our cars. Im putting a for sale sign on my 240...30,000$ FTW. haha

radio spot in new york has vin's voice in it and during a cheap joke in reference to part 1. so im giong to assume that that is one of the few surprises you talk about.

I saw it like two weeks ago and it actually wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. The three main things I didnt like was how they kept crashing cars everywhere, the ending, and all the cars were over the top like import tuner style. There were some funny ass parts but I dont wanna reveal too much so Im gonna stop here.
