it was fucking awesome. im not gonna give anything away, but it was definetly worth the money. also stay after the credits for a little surprise.

I may not be able to see the movie for a bit so if you are going to post spoilers please but huge spoiler tags on your post and place it a min of 20 lines under the spoiler tag before you begin to type. that way you give the person a chance of avoiding the spoiler. also no quoting a spoiler please.

im a big xmen fan......i guess i was a lil disappointed with the powers displayed at times....and i hate rogue cos she reminds me of emo's in every single fuckin movie lol....let alone the accent is never there.

but entertaining movie overall.....

when the juggernaut said "dont you know who i am? i'm the juggernaut bitch" that was the best line in all the series, hands down. the writers must have seen that one dubbed vid

overall i give the movie a 8/10. relative to other action/comic based movies of course.

It's the guy who played "hot Rob" in The Italian Job and he plays a soccer hooligan in Euro Trip. And he's the guy that didn't talk in Gone In 60 Seconds.

and yeah they coulda used better powers. their display was acceptable. but far less than impressive.

but if they were runnin short on characters. they really should have nightcrawler. his character is at least deep and intriguing let alone make awesome fight scenes

but if they already lost their idea of cast in a comic book series that has the most immense no. of superheroes and supervillians....then they really have sucked.....hardcore

they could and should use some x-force characters.
cable, deadpool and domino for the motherfuckin win.

what?? no, no it's not jason statham... you're right about Bullet Tooth Tony, but yeah, that's the same guy as Sphinx from Gone in 60 Seconds, same guy as the soccer hooligan in Euro Trip... but it was Jason Statham that played Hot Rob in the Italian Job.

I'm a huge comic fan... trust me, I probably have a larger comic collection than anyone on this board. From a comic standpoint, I thought the movie was fair at best... they could have done a little bit better with character devlopment and whatnot... they got it "right" for the most part, but didn't really go into reasoning why the characters acted the ways they did... they should have... like with Xavier being a dick to Logan and all that crap.

From a film standpoint... it was pretty good. a little rushed, I thought... Unfortunatley, not as good as the second X-Men flick... it's like, in context, following the first and second movies, the third is badass. If you've never seen the first two, however, this movie was bullshit. It cannot stand alone, be it's own movie. All the character development was done in the first two.

I'll leave the rest alone until we can let go some of the spoilers... I've got other gripes with it.

Like I said, I'm probably the largest comic fanboy you'll find on this board... I make weekly trips to the comic shop, I've been reading for over twelve years, and have a collection of over 1800 bagged and boarded comic books, with a estimated value of over $15K, probably more. They could have done a lot better with the movie, but they could have done a lot worse. It's a badass movie in context, but to keep it being a badass movie, they need to do a fourth, maybe even a fifth film.

It was kinda weak how Nightcrawler just, disappeared from the X-roster... where'd he go? no explanation, nothing. Pretty lame how Colossus didn't get much of an introduction, or really any good parts of the film.

Like I said... the movie was just too fast paced, rushed, to get all the crap they needed into the alloted time. should have extended it.

i think with nightcrawler they may have had a casting issue, not sure on that tho. and about colossus, you're right, from the second movie, i really wanted himt o have more scenes, he was a face of mine since the tv series. jean grey as phoenix barely did shit until the end, and even then she was more of a "force" to be dealth with than a character.

oh, and kev mentioned dead pool, if he was even a cameo in this movie i woulda gone nuts, i was such a huge fan as a kid, had so many of the comics.

did anyone see the previews for Ghostrider, its gonna star Nick Cage. i hope its not another fantastic 4, it didnt look that great.
