To date, 8-9-06 has ran a best pass so far is of 9.05 at 160.0 mph. Best 60' time to date is 1.43. That 60' was not on the 9.05 run.

About time someone knocked AMS off. I always said they were a joke.
Shootout this weekend i think, any bets on how many passes it takes the AMS car to break?

bushur started out trying to keep a fully stock evo perform to the best of its ability, they retain that image by leaving interior stock as a slight gimmick for thier apperance, it adds sting when they can say, our evo beat AMS's with a full interior BITCHHHHHHHHH but let the ams evo spray on thier asses and well see what happens AMS>* ams >******
j/k that last comment was for ben ebcause hes a douchnozzle

Where should i start? When they win a race with that Evo call me. Buschar won the shootout in April (i think) running consistant 9.6's. They said they made 10 passes that day all in the 9.6 range and had a nice trophy at the end of the day to show for it. Where the fuck was AMS? In their trailer after the first qualifying pass because they can't keep their car together. Nevermind the fact Buschur had 60 passes on that car in 2006 at this point without breaking.
AMS' shop car is always broke. They have all this hype on the internet but in real life they can't keep the car together long enough to make 4 runs on the same weekend. Plus they like to make the stupidest buisness decisions of anyone i've ever met regarding their race car. Yeah, makes a lot of sense to tow your car all the way out to Ohio with no testing and break it first pass. Makes even more sense to tow your car down to Nopi St. Louis to do shakedown passes and break the car on the 2nd qualifying pass. Stuff like this starts to make you look like you can't keep a car together... even if you deserve that image, you should be smart enough to hide it.
As far as their full interior, i've been told their back seat is falling into their trunk. That's just a rumor though.
I'm also fucking sick of AMS' pathetic ass excuses. "We're pushing limits." Okay, that makes a lot of sense.. because, you know, when the '05 Mustang's came out it took years to figure them out. No, not at all, they just applied what they already knew to a new chassis. DSM's have been running faster than 9 seconds for many years, it's not that complicated to put the power down. Buschur proved this and will continue to i'm sure.
Even more exciting, rumor has it that Shepherd has an Evo he's building.

thank you for the response, thier buisness descisions and track history cant vouch for the people they are however, they have done gfood work for a couple of my friends, so i cant call them a joke, i havent seen anything come out of thier shop as far as labor goes that i couldnt say was done with a good amount of craftsmanship and quality. my buddys evo has some work done from them, cams bolt ons, flas 2 step, turbo back exaust front mount blah blah and they were always on time with thier labor and did a good job.
now that i think about it, last time i saw ivan (from ams) and his 240 he had to be towed from the end of the track with his 240
but thats a race car

They've removed all of the supports for the seat i assume. I just know some of the Evo guys were giving them shit about the "full interior" thing because it's hacked up.

oh.
I think the full interior thing is stupid. Unless its class rules that you have to have stuff like that, dont do it. If nascar guys didnt have to run restrictor plates, do you think they would just for bragging rights? hell o, they'd yank that bitch out of there and have a faster car.
