so tonight my mom call me from downstairs like there's an emergency, like as if someone's been shot or the house is on fire. im sick and i was dozing off on my futon with the tv on, i jump up and run out to the hall to see what's wrong. she tells me my brother needs to be picked up from the gym, and she dropped him off. i begrudgingly agree to go pick him up even tho im already wearing my flanel bottoms and slippers. i get to the gym and i see no one. i didnt bring my phone. but logically im thinking my brother should know someone was on their way to pick him up, because logically my mother knew to pick him up because he called using his cellphone to ask for such action to be taken... Misconception #1.

no one had yet to trade phone calls with anyone. my mother, i'm guessing, just felt like sending me out to pick him up, wait like and idiot in the car, and perhaps come out to open the door for him as he came to the car? after circling the parking lot for about 5 minutes since there is no stopping or passenger loading anywhere (and i cant even go inside to get him since im not a member, theyre pricks since they got cameras to monitor anybody going in) i leave and go back home in a quiet rage. i realize what has happened and simply tell my mother that next time to wait for my brother to call to be picked up, therefore i will not be wasting my time. she becomes furious and is very vocal about it, as she yells i talk calmly back since my throat had gone to hell and i can barely talk. makes her more mad, i dont care.


the thing is, i dont care having to pick someone up from anywhere. do it all the time for friends. but my brother is a dumbass, he literally gets straight F's, he only 15 and gets piercings and other dumb shit without my parents permission, as a freshmen he has already been thrown out of his highschool which i had to fight my parents to get him into because the one we are zoned for is terrible. he's the stereotypical teen who doesnt do anything to contribute at home. he's a waste of the cool bedroom downstairs that has a private bathroom. i dont know why the hell my parents bend over backwards to appease him, constantly fund his expensive paintball hobby, take his childish tantrums, etc. and i, the nearly perfect son, still find my way into becoming the bad guy 20 yr old moocher who cant even simply pick up his brother from the gym.

im more angry because i cant be let alone to rest, everyday that goes by that i cant workout i become anxious because im losing the daily rythm i had with my routine. i have 24/7 headaches, my shoulder is acting up again, and i have no health insurance so im riding out whatever i have at home with OTC crap. (which is not cool because i know i really need antibiotics right now)

i dont care about anyone or about anything in this house. im only here because im saving money as long as my parents are still living in CA. with my excellent credit landlords are constantly calling me asking when i will finally make a decision about moving into their properties. so its no biggie what my parents decide, to throw me out, whatever.

That's pretty sweet then. Just stock up on cool shit like furniture and electronics so you can take all the shit you need once you decide to move out. That's my plan.
