heres a pic:
im getting my wheels tomorrow and ill have to wait a couple of days to get teh suspension in. im taking it to be done by a pro since i dont have the tools and it would cost too much to buy them.
any ideas where i should take my car for a quick and easy shock/spring install?

you can use rachet straps as spring compressors if you are talented enough

i remember when we did the rear suspension on my accord... few years ago... we didnt have spring compressors... so we just used a air ratchet, undid the nut and ran... broke a window in the garage that way...

that is why you shoot the springs into a bucket, no broken windows that way

lowering shouldnt be to hard. just be careful with the spring. Its really compressed. I suggest if u dont wanna get spring compresssors to unbolt the bolt at the bottom of the strut the one that is on the control arm and then unbolt the nut at the top of the strut so that when the nut comes off the spring will decompress using the weight of the car. as far as buying a ratchet set shouldnt be to much for a descent set. around 70-90$ for a simple ratchet set and jack and jack stands 30$ at autozone. total of 130 at most. which u prolly would be paying or more to get it done proffesionally. then again if u dont know how or what ur doing gettin it done proffesionally would be the better way. Just if/when u get it done post some pics.

Jesus christ those springs are huge.
Ya when i was installing my tein I just undid the nut on the old spring/shock and shot it into a bucket.. pretty fun. Good thing about coilovers is you dont need to compress the spring of them when putting them on, just tightenin the nut.
If your strong enough, when I installed springs/shocks on my brothers Si, I just compressed the springs by pushing down on them hard and he undid the nut, but if your not strong enough to hold it your gonna be in one hell of a mess.
