Who wants to start a "Kill George Lucas" fan club?
haha, wouldn't that be funny if we got like, five million crazed star wars fans to raid Skywalker Ranch and kill George Lucas??
I dunno what made me make this thread... but it's something I've always thought about. Weird... I know.
I'm a huge Star Wars fan... and I just made a post about it in a thread in the Movie/TV forum... it made me think about Star Wars again... I haven't watched them in a while
Star Wars is great though... I mean, the new trilogy wasn't really that good as far as movies go... even the old trilogy left out some major character development.
But if any of you have read the books (you know, they make a book of the movie a little bit before the movie comes out), and if you read up on the mythology behind the story, it's just so amazing... very imaginative and incredibly well told.
But... he fucked up the movies (like digitally editing Hayden Christensen, anakin in the new trilogy, into the DVD version of Return of the Jedi, amongst other blunders) and the whole new trilogy could have been so much more well done...
and for that, Lucas should die for fuckin up the best thing he ever gave to the world.

He is actually responsible for just about 80% of movie special effects and the reason people still go to the theaters...and he made Indy Jones so he rules for that
