Mountain biking??
the weathers getting nice out and I cant wait to hit some trails. I think Im gonna sell my hardtail and buy a full suspension with a smaller frame.
anyone else do any mountain biking?

in HS i rode ALLLLLL the time
what do you ride? you might be better off sticking with your hard tail than going full suspension.

this year Im trying to get into downhill stuff, hitting some big jumps.
right now I have a specialized rockhopper

You should stick with a hardtail unless you are doing downhill stuff. I love my Gary FIsher hardtail, my buddy who is a professional mountain biker hooked me up with i.

if you want to do downhill, you might not want to downsize your frame too much, just make sure you have enough travel in the rear. but the real question is how often are you going to be hitting up the mountains? you'll probably want a more XC oriented bike. just something to consider.

If any of you guys have heard of Hayes or Sun Ringle, let me know if you need parts because I work for Sun Components. We bought Sun Ringle and we now make the wheels, and everything else. Talk about hook up.
