I'm off to the immigration and getting my american citizenship in about 3 hours. Wish me luck. I came to the states in 1987 and never came around to get my citizenship til now

werd, i came here in like 88 haha...iono if im a citizen both of my parents became citizens so im supposed to automatically become one, but im not certified or something, they still have to apply...but my mom says im a citizen cuz i have a US passport and stuffz

I just came back and I passed hehe. The funny thing was the guy who interviewed me was also korean which I thought it was weird. He talked to me in korean at first and he said now i'm gonna start speaking in english. He gave me a paper with 10 written questions about the history and I passed all of em. Then he told me to read loud "The children play at school". Then he told me to write "The teachers are proud of the children". It only took 15 minutes. Shit was too easy tho. All I need to do is take a oath.

Also if your a resident in alaska, the goverment gives you 900+ bucks every year per person. If you have 5 people in the family, that's 5,000 dollars.
