great car, you'd be surprised at how roomy they are inside (even though they look small). Im 6' fit fine and drive it 50 miles a day.
The main thing is, the smile on your face from driving it will never go away, and now that I just installed these coilovers its multiplied x10. Truely a great car, oh ya, RWD>

or you could buy an S2K...
more powerful, RWD, Honda reliability, keep everything cool about the miata, and still keep 50/50 weight distribution.

I've driven both s2k and miata, and even though I love the s2k and damn near everything about it, to me it just didn't compare to the miata, the engine of course it badass but I didnt buy the miata for the engine, thats why I got rid of my JDM h22 prelude.
Both great cars though.
If they make a mazda subsection let me know

Ill make sure to mention it. in the meantime we have an imports subforum that i think is still there you can post up in there in the meantime and if the demand for a mazda subforum rises we can add one.

Ive driven a miata was quite impressed it was street legal but full caged for auto-x. A doctor owned it and i always did the service work and alignments on it, was quite nice hard as hell to get into though with a cage.

Ever since I lowered it w/ the Tein SS it's like I have to sit on the floor, then get in. Cool w/ me though doesnt bother me at all, and its also fat chick proof because we all know fatties can't squat down to their knees, so now they'll prolly look and be like "f that, its too low."
Speaking of which i raised the front like 1" and god damn its a PITA to do it, you never know exactly how much higher your going until the wheel is on and the car is lowered, I wanted it to be 12" from fender wall to hub but im like 2-3cm off.. after going into a parking garage today and the side of the car scraping on the speed bump I realized it needs to be higher cause that sound of scrapage almost made me shed a tear in pain for the car.
