Try for sure but be prepared to get the cold shoulder. These cars are ridiculous to find in the used car business. I have been trying for the longest time to get one at auction. When they do show up they fetch 2-3K more than wholesale just because they are that rare. The demand is there so this guy can probably just wait until he gets what he wants.
When I got into this business I told my friend (used car manager at Bridgewater Acura) that I was gonna buy GS-Rs left and right and make a killing. He laughed at me and said sure, and when you find them to buy you will be bidding against 3 dozen other people who have the same idea.
Just for the hell of it, I have been in business for the almost a year now. I have gone to auction about 10 times. You know how many GS-Rs I have seen .........................ZERO. It nuts, I see more EVOs & STis. |

i know what you mean. its hard to find one thats never been modded with decent miles. my main goal is to trade my 04 Si in and get out of there with no money out of pocket and a lower monthly payment

easy man, i took my si in for appraisal i got 15xxx. but i just sold it for 14500  but atleast ill get my tuition paid off and a miata in the process, hopefully; and maybe my talon will run. |
