JRSC finally put on!!!
Hey to everyone that has been reading up on my posts and helping me out thank you all. I finally got the SC on the gsr today. Took me almost 2 days cause of some delays. Well I went for a test drive and it pulls nice. Although a little to strong for the stock clutch. But also there is some smoke coming from under the charger. At first I thought it was the clutch cause it had that smell to it. Then after the clutch smell faded away another smell sorta like a plstic. But I checked the clearance just like the instructions said to do. I dunno it goes away after a while. Any ideas of anything? Thanx everyone

lol I sure hope its a break-in smell. Ill get some pics posted asap. bro Ive been working non stop for the bast 20 hours. At first the pulley was grinding against the brake booster line so I then just bent the line a little away from the pulley. I drove it for about 30 min. and 25 miles ran nice. Im gettin only a cel for the o2 sensor but thats cause its unplugged. Pulls nice. Im just hoping I did a good job and did it rite. Hey what kinda clutch should I look into getting and flywheel as well?

yea sorr guys its been dark eerytime i got finished with it. I took it apart today to fix the knock sensor and the o2 sensor and to make more clearance under the SC. Bolted it down and drove it for about 70 miles all ran nice and all only cel that came back was the Knock Sensor. I guess it prolly broke again. Its still ran strong. What can I do to get that off? Iss it effecting me bad? Will it hurt my motor?

idk if it will mess it up, but if you knock... you will be in trouble. jsut be careful and get a new or used one asap.
the accord 6th gen is notorious for weaksauce knockers. you try to gently pull the plug off and the whole sensor comes out the housing because of weak plastic. im one of 7 people on another site to breka one going turbo lol.

Well it depends.
The knock sensor is there to "save" your engine. If it is reporting correct then you are pinging, knocking, detonating (what ever you want to call it).
If it is reading incorrect then there's no reason for alarm.
Are you using super unleaded?? If not you MUST!!!! Another thing may be to retard your timing a little and see if the cel comes back. Of course you have to clear the cel first Also, don't hesitate to call Jackson Racing. As a mater of fact I would call them right away before you go any further and just have a chat with them.

dang it! thats what im trying to avoid is taking the damn thing off again. I think ima just plug in the p28. But it isnt for my setup so maybe Ill just drive on it for a lil. I mean my last car was a high compressioned type r and no knock sensor at all. The plug wasnt there. Shot the code but ran strong and for over 40k miles till someone rear ended me. So I hope it realy doesnt mess to much.
Yea Ill call them. Also the light doesnt come on until I go past 4k rpm when I start the car and idle it stays off.

Your last sentence says it all guy!! Your knocking, pinging and it's not good. If the sensor was faulty it would be on all the time. If it is coming on after 4K it's probably because you are leaning out and detonating.
You still didn't answer my question about the fuel.

keep it stock and dont worry too much, just follow what john said, and id advise you not to use that tune, it will most likely be worse for the engine.

im using 93 octane as usual. So the knock sensor is working then? So what could be happening? I got stock Gsr 240cc injectors, stock fuel pump, stock p72 ecu. Just an FMU 5:1. Any ideas? Would upgrading to a walbro fuel pump help at all? If so which model?

Just call them tomorrow before you start buying stuff. I'm sure your problem is heat (AIT) and/or ignition timing.

I used the factory intake manifold gasket brand new is that ok? Also How else can I cool down my iats? w/o having to buy an LHT? CAI? anything? Also should I upgrade the Injectors (to 310cc being thats all the ecu can support) or leave them stock If im only planning on using the stock gsr ecu along with 6psi?
