I am the new owner of a 98' Integra.
I bought a red 98' Integra standard LS for $1500 from my cousin. He wrecked it about 3 months ago. He lives in a apartment in Tulsa and is unable to work on it. It had been at my house ever since the wreck. The car was in great shape prior to the collision. It has 145K on the B18 non-vtec. It uses no oil...he kept up with all the maintenence. He was hit from the side on the front driver side bumper, in front of the wheel. It shoved the front end over about 3-4 inches. I am having to get it pulled straight at the body shop.
Damages:
The A/C pulley is bent, the PS pulley is bent, an A/C line is cracked, the PS reservior is cracked, both lower motor mounts are busted, some wires are cut and the washer fluid reservior has a hole in it. Not to mention the hood, bumper and both fenders need to be replaced. I am going to replace the faded headlights and the corner lights while I'm at it. It was hit in a vital area.
I plan on doing 90% of the work to save money and give it to my wife to drive to work...to keep the miles off of the new Explorer.
Working on 2 cars at once will wear you out...especially when the outside temp is 95+ degrees.
Later guys. If I don't post up much, I am outside busting knuckles.

I have a PS pump from my DA B16 from Japan, I don't know but I bet it would work if you need it. I also have all the OEM mounts from that but like I said I'm not sure if they work for you.

You're right! I got a good car for $1500, but will have to sink $2500 into it to get it up to snuff.

I finally got the Integra up to snuff. Way over budget. I got a shitty paint job on it and need to get it repainted ...I will get pics up soon with my new Rex restore pics.
I have a few questions for you Teg owners. I'm sure I could dig and find some of these but I am being lazy.
1) Does anyone else's sunroof or hatch leak?
2) Does anyone else's front defrost not work well?
3) Does anyone else's hatch not unlock correctly on a regular basis?
Any suggestions on how to fix them?
Thanks...that's all I have for now. It will be a sharp ride when I am done.

ive owned three tegs im on my third one now and i have never had any of those problems... listen i have a shell you can use for spare parts im selling for 500 if you are interested in it doors are fine, etc. and no those arent common problems. The car is a bitch for the front defrost but it does work just takes too long and usually gets too hot so you turn it off before its fully defrosted. if you use the ac on for a few seconds it completely defrost's quicly im talking few seconds. And get ready for window fogging hell. its no torious for it. and the sunroof leaking and rear hatch not locking might be due to the collision and it not being pulled and aligned correctly. it really shouldnt leak or not lock.
