Might get the car dyno'ed today.
MY car has been in the shop since last night getting oil changed and what not in preperation to go to drt in queens to be tuned. Im hoping for some good numbers here.
Here is the set up.
Exhaust system : JDM type-r header 2.5 collector(soon to be RMF Narrow header with 2.5 exit.), 2.5 highflow cat, and the apex n1 cat back.
Intake: aem v2 with bypass(soon to be comptech icebox and air intake), Skunk2 manifold, hondata im gasket heatsheild.
Head: ngk iridium plugs(15dollar ones), magnacore wires, 3-angle valve job, mild port and polish(was done while cleaning it up), Skunk2 dual valve springs, skunk2 titanium retainers, skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk2 camgears.
Block: Gs-r crank micropolished and rebalanced, eagle rods, wiseco high compression pistons 85mm (i think) (1.9L now), cometic headgasket, new waterpump and new oem rest of the stuff.
Engine management: Hondata s200, boomslang fab jumper harness and jdm p28. ( got a SWEET DEAL on the p28)
more info to come when i get back. Wish me luck.

well i got some good news and some bad news and some ultimate great news.
First the good news. The car hit 195whp and 130+ TQ. the bad news is that it started to lean out because of the fuel pump. the pump wasnt holding up and that kept me under 200whp. the car as it stands now because of the pump has a more convervative tune at 180whp and 125tq. the ultimate good news is that once i get hte pump the car will shatter 200whp. when ralphy at drt had it up there the engine still had more power to give but the fuel pump didnt and thats why they didnt go higher. the tune now is only computer tunning he hasnt touched the cams yet. the hondata gasket is not in yet, the comptech intake and icebox is not on yet and neither is the rmf header. monday i order the pump and in like two weeks i go back to the dyno for better numbers. all in all unfortunately i didnt get the numbers i wanted BUT the power is officially there and untapped so its all amatter of getting the fuel system up to par so the engine can get more fuel. car feels better, idles better its raining so i didnt get to punch it a bit but it feels alot tigheter than it did before. before it felt sloppy. now its smooth and tight. more info as the weeks progress.

Thanks guys, I deffinitely cant wait to get that pump. Jay has been telling me to "throw the switch" in. And ive been thinking about it. He suggested a 75-100shot wet shot direct port nos kit. He wants to push the engine to 300whp. And to be quite honest the way it was built it can handle it.
So far its been raining so i cant even test the car out to see how it feels.
Horror story before i continue. There was a guy there at the shop with a black coupe which by anystandards was sexy. had a type-r motor, type-r dashboard, type r wiring everything type-r. it had been done right cuz they stripped the car and did it from scratch. last night he had gone back to get the clutch adjusted. so after all that work he takes the car back after over a week worth of work. he takes the car for a ride then 20 minutes later jay shows up and says "the black coupe has hydrolocked the motor" and everybody throws up the hands yelling "ahhhhh"
back to me now. i have a week to drive it and get what i need then back to the dyno we go. its exciting to see what all that work can do now. I went through hell but im finally starting to see the pay off.

You can't..... it was probably a mechanical / hydro conversion swap.

Yea you guessed it right on the head. it would have been more but the pump didnt cooperate. so after a few tweaks i hope to put down more.

Just took the car for a spin and it feels alot better than before. still feels like theres more power to get out of it like it wants to go faster. i get serious wheel hop at 6krpms through first and second gear. and its like it revs for ever and i think the redline is between 8.5k and 9k. happy but want more.
