A ~410HP and ~310FT-LB V8 is gay, are you retarded? The E90s are lighter than the E46s, so if by becoming a boat you only mean they're getting larger, then yes, but heavier, no. What do you think of LS7s?

im just not a fan of big displacement motors. yes they make more power, but i like inline motors, its just something id rather see. just like some people are all no replacement for displacement, i prefer smaller motors with a turbo or twin turbos. putting an ls1 in a rx7 is cool, its creative and fast, but id rather see the turbo rotary. its just my thing, not as an insult to anyone or you, im just not thrilled about a gas guzzling v8. of course itll make more power than a 4cyl or 6 cyl, but its a bigger motor, so it makes sense.

V8 engines in BMW 5 series seem to all do high 20s-30 highway, and I'd be willing to be the new M3 engine will be comparable. Not exactly gas guzzling. But if someone is looking for a high performance car, gas mileage usually isn't a top priority. It takes more gas to make more HP.
