axle-back?
well, now that i have the rex, the next thing i want to do is go with an exhaust. i was thinking of going turbo back, but was concerned about emissions and whatnot. i really like the looks of the turbo xs one
it doesnt come with the burnt tip anymore, but i just love how it looks and sounds. is it a better idea for me to go with the axle-back, and then buy a downpipe a little down the road, or just go with the full turbo back? it would be cheaper for me to go with the axleback now and then wait for the downpipe later on, but then if i decide to go with an upipe, the expences might be more. what does everyone else think?

but a universal mufler from a brand name (like apex'i). then bring it to a reputable mufler shop and have them custom bend you a turbo back exhaust. thats what I would do

that would be cheaper than buying one straight up, or piecing it together later on? would you happen to know how much that would cost?

Buy a TBE. If one isnt made be paitent and wait for one to be made. You wont have mandral bends if you piece it together..........Non mandral bends especially on a turbo car is a NO NO...........Dont cheap out on it anthony, you have a decent car to start modding dont half ass it.

save and get a tbe...the turbo xs unit has gains of 26awhp..trust me you get it..when we installed it on the wrx..the car wasnt the same anymore..plus tbe give you a nice spooling sound ...Yea i can get you the turbo xs tbe for 900 shipped...or I have a agency power catback..thats 700shipped..reason being...it has titaium muffler with the the burnt tip..looks sexy and its a light system..If you cant afford a tbe right now get a uppipe then...thats the mod for alot of guys..they say about 1/2 a pound of boost extra and faster turbo spool up..Let me know if you need any thing..

the only reason i was considering doing it this way was because of getting a ticket and shit. im not too sure how much it would be if i had a race pipe. i could get the axle back and then a downpipe, but any down pipe you get would be considered only for the track huh?
i guess ill just say fuck it, save my stock exhaust and if worst comes to worst i can put it back on.

nah i havent been on sho for a while, ima go check now.
i just figured out the difference between a tbe is that it comes with a catback and downpipe and they are the same brand so they will probably fit better than two different brands. so if i bought a catback and downpipe from the same manufacturer, would that not be the same thing, or is there somethin im missing?
