Parts finaly installed
O.k. this weekend i spent most of saturday installing all my parts. Heres a list of whats new, K&N Typhoon, GReddy type rs BOV ( venting into atmosphere ) manual boost controller, guage pod, and all my guages. Now for the story i didnt get directions with the boost contrtoller so after much deliberating i installed it the way i thought it should go didnt work, changed vacuum lines still didnt work after the third time i got it rite, didnt realize it was ALL the way open oh boy what a ride max boost showing 18 pounds on the guage and then the ecu took over and shut it down, i then realized what i had done so it has been adjusted to make almost 12 pounds. Anything over 12 pounds and the ecu shuts it down. Next thing on the list of to do's pink injectors and a STI ecu, should help with boost and fuel issues, hopefuly without blowing the motor.

Hey thanx, i almost bought a 06 wrx, but i found mine for $12,900 already had team tein springs, rota torque 17's and a few other nice things figured the money i saved in monthly payments i could invest in bolt ons.

almost forgot still have my hks 3" down pipe to instal but im waiting til next weekend, im goin to the carlisle import show hoping ti find a GReddy cat back and then ill install everything at one time.

Holly Shit Man!!  How does 18 psi feel? Hope you didn't do any damage. I don't think it did. 3 inch dp and a greddy catback install at the same time is gonna be a big change. You're gonna have to change you're driving style or you're gonna get pulled for db limits.  |

18 Pounds feels like holy sh*t hang on, and your rite i will probly get pulled over for loud exhaust but its all worth it for the performance gains.

I'm not too familiar with WRXs but don't you need a complete retune with that kind of boost increase?? I mean a new fuel pump and injectors alone aren't going to do it, I would think you need an ECU that came with a car that had that much boost or a fully programable unit. Are you at least monitoring your air/fuel mixture with a wideband??
