the time has come.
i have had a stock hatch since july 17th, 2005. a great first car. gas friendly, reliable, slow but reasonably safe. well, its time for the swap...about 8 months later, and 2000 dollars richer, having around 4000-4500 to spend, what on earth should i do? GSR? TYPE R? LS? D series? H series? k fuckin 20?
well i decided. and ill post pics when its all done, im ordering the swap tomorrow, hopefully. but it should be done before april.

I'm not as impressed with the H22 as I am with the B18C1 and C5 ... I've driven both, i just prefer the B's for civics. If I was a drag racer it may be a different story.
I'd like to see you get the typeR if it works out price-wise

type r>gsr>h22 but thats not saying that the type r is better by a HUGE margin, all motors and trannys are great in there own ways...h22 would be my all out built drag motor, and i need to daily drive this so i guess everyone can count the h out of the picture, so its between a b16, b18c, b18c-r.
and btw.....they are all going to be jdm spec. w00t w00t

B18C-r
I'm with you, the B series looks "at home" in the civics. H is too big and K just looks really strange in there
get the type R and do some light work to it, then later you could alway do a JRSC Plus, you get to where the "red" v/c!!!!!
