FYI - 5.72s 0-60 in 98 GSR hatch

November 2003:

In case anybody was wondering what kind of times to expect I just (finally) timed my hybrid and got a 5.72 0-60mph

1998 CX full interior + sub
1998 USDM GSR
AEM CAI
custom 2.25" exhaust piping
205/40R16 Dunlop SP9000 rubber (200 tread wear rating)

I was surprised, and happy.

From the pic in your sig, i'd say the next thing you need is some springs. That's way too much body roll.

Amen brotha - you may recall my old sig...

As for the specs on my car...
Body
1998 EJ6 Civic CX

Drivetrain
1998 USDM B18C1 + Trans
Prothane motor mount inserts

Power Mods
AEM CAI
DC 4-2-1 two piece header
OEM GSR cat (the car's smog legal in Cali)
custom 2.25" cat-back piping
- with 24" resonator and Dynomax superturbo muffler

Suspension
2001 Civic EX 15x6 Steelies (yes I rock the hubcaps)
195/55 R15 Mastercraft Avenger ZHP (awesome tire @ $89)
Skunk2 rear lower tie bar
Spoon front and rear strut tower bars

Interior
DC2 LS Front Seats
EJ Civic EX armrest console
Honda Leather steering wheel wrap
5th Gen Prelude SH shift knob
EJ Civic EX Guage cluster (with tach)
EJ6 DX hatch cargo cover

Audio
Blaupunkt MP41 mp3/cd head unit
JL 6x9's
Pioneer 5-1/2's
Infinity Basslink 10" / 200w self amped sub

Man I dont' think I've ever listed everything out like that...i wonder if I forgot anything.
I've made a real effort to keep the car stock-looking to avoid theft and because I'm really into people thinking my car is unmodified. That's also why I got it badged as smog legal in Cali.

I don't have sway bars yet - not even OEM, so yes, they are doing nothing at all on somebody's shelf somewhere.
And as for understeer, actually with the strut tower bar and the tie bar in the back it's not that hard to get the ass around. It takes some throttle steer but it goes...after it's done rolling that is.
