i used duplicolor low gloss black, high temp paint, they didnt have primer, so i used aluminum metallic as a base (high temp, same brand) so the finish of the black is slightly metallic/flakey when you see it in person. i was going to clear it, but i like the flatter look

i havent updated this, but i redid the whole thing, too many highs and lows in the paint, when i redid it, i threw coats of lclear, and base on top of the clear, then another 2 coats base, another coat clear, one more coat of medium base, it came out low gloss, no movement across the grain of paint, very clean, il try and remember to taKE PICS
