saw the Fit at the autoshow. Looked fairly nice. Kinda anxious to see what the tuner market does for it and how it's accepted.

There's already a huge market overseas so it's just a matter of diverting those parts here. Spoon, Mugen, J's racing, etc. already carry a full line up of parts.
ALSO, Hasport has already confirmed that as soon as they get their hands on one they are making K series mounts. The Fit weighs in around 2400-2500 lbs, so that should be a fun little car.

This is true, maybe the information hasn't been made available to me yet
Besides www.kbb.com and www.edmunds.com will have invoice, but they don't just yet. And another thing you won't be able to get this car @ invoice, its going to be like the new civic, sure they might take off a couple 100 dollars just to apease you, but thats it, these will be sticker cars. There isn't much to play with price-wise anyway on these cars. Look at Scion there is barely a 600 dollar markup in those. And these fall in the same boat. There is alot of safety features and standard options for a 16k price tag fully loaded. Hell a automatic DX civic is 16,110, and we all know what a DX civic looks like on the inside. Yes the invoice is 14,596.39 on a DX but that reflects what on the inside and outside of the car. Crank windows manual door locks, uncolored mirrors, steelies, i mean the list goes on and on, the Fit is a steal at that price. And if Honda alots the Fit like they have been the new Civic its going to be a pain in the ass to get one in the first place. We can't even keep the Civic in stock, and people are happy to pay sticker. We have a SI sitting on the floor right now with a 3000 dollar market adjustment sticker on it, including accessories that are installed on it, its now a 26,--- dollar vehicle. Think no one will buy it? I've seen the two before go at the same price. The Civic is hot right now, with the corolla rolling into its 4th year of the same body style, and lets be honest the Sentra just isn't on par anymore with either the Toyota or the Honda.
Most of this is IMO but the numbers speak for themselves, and it's what people are paying for the car now.

My girlfriend is the inventory clerk at a Honda dealer, and she said she put the first Fit in transit Monday of last week.
In other words, THEY'RE ON THEIR WAY!!!

As much is true, mid April to end of April for some dealers. On my in-transit sheet I have ship dates from 3/23-3/30 for our first couple. Usually takes about two weeks from ship dates to get here.
