one of our fellow friends in the honda 'pussy village' was talkin about the s2k and how to spice it up....seems like SOME ppl dont like widebodying their 'cherished babies', well over in the 'gangsta tough village' of predominantly heterosexual male nissan owners. we like to do otherwise.......
so i had some scrubbing issues after lowering my s15 more....it was scrubbing with the stock guard underneath my overfender
it scrubbed under load on a turn if it encountered a bump. let alone sure....i didnt mind the warp....the warping was pretty fuckin gangsta cos thats how all nissans should roll.....FUCKIN GANGSTA'PEAL......
anyway my friend had new 50mm overfenders that he had to 'return a favour' to me. and as the ones who personally know me. i dont get fucked around. ever. lol.
first what we did was remove the old overfender. we removed it by drilling thru the pop rivets

after that was removed, we removed the left over silicone with a razor blade and cleaned up wutever mess was made before hand.
body skins at the wheel wells are fused at the lip. if its the first time u do overfenders, U HAVE TO cut the lip of the wheel well to seperate the two skins.
why? because when u hammer and flare them out, it helps them seperate and the inner wheel well can sit HIGHER up to meet the body skin. or u can cut the top body skin, hammer like God's angry with ur weak sauce efforts, and fold the inner (wheel well) skin up and OVER the body skin. it gives a nice finish and with silicone/sikaflex sealant. it binds and holds well without any chance of rusting (because if they are lose, the in-car rattle WILL drive u insane.......
we had already modified the body for the overfenders. but since we're hardcore like this, we decided to do it further and cos of the above reasons as mentioned above in the first paragraaaaaaaaph.

angle grinders do the job, but a reciprocating cutter and/or plasma cutter will do the job much faster. not that it matters if u have the experience.
now u get a big fuckin hammer, the heavier and flatter the better. it gives u more momentum when ur beating the hell outta the panels. so u try to make the wheel well as clean as possible while 'raising the wheel well' try to get it almost horizontal to the ground
once u have finished, pat yourself on the back. cos ur fuckin gangsta lol. and seam seal it with silicone/sikaflex. use a rubber glove and run it along so its relatively smooth. if u have any excess, acetone cleans it right up.
below u can see we have rehammered and raised the hell out of it....AGAIN.....the paint flakes off at this area but thats ok. the sealant binds well and u wont have any issues with moisture.
u can see the hammer we were using. mind the velocity lol.

with sealant finish

u can see where the stock body is. its hard with s15's to go higher and MEET FLUSH with the overfender underneath because the chassis support would be in the way....but it doesnt really matter. it closes the gap underneath more than enough
some overfenders come with Fuel 'overcaps' to close the gap. with a bevelled area at the hinge. if u want it to sit flusher. then u use ROD SPACERS and/or washers and modify to fit. a custom hinge engagement can be made so that u can use the stock fuel cap locking mechanism
this was done for my original overfender

now that its done. just like any aftermarket body part. u dremel/sand/modify to fit the overfender.
ITS EXTREMELY USEFUL to use an accurate ruler with BUBBLE balance guages. so u can get as symmetrical as u can.
my stock sideskirts were flaired originally to meet further out at the rear overfender. this makes the car look wider, but shows less tyre.
and when ur running as large as 50mm overfenders, its up to personal taste which way u go. PERSONALLY: i like to show more tyre. cos it accentuates the widebody more.
the taper of the wheel wells sitting out looks alot more gangsta. and its something than can only be done with overfenders like this. kit overfenders like C-WEST/GAY/PUSSY styles are only 35mm....which is FUCKING weak if u got 50mm and compare. but those kit widebodies tend to flare out for that 'factor line' finish. its up to taste personally. but ive done both. and ,much prefer this

the holes that are exposed from the previous overfender will be welded and blended back into the body. we are going to replace the screws with pop rivets, but it really depends on what kinda look u want. i personally prefer pop rivets
these moulds were left in there for a month cos hardly anyone does this....let alone to an s15......so i had a really good finish right outta the mould. when u rivet fenders u can warp a little at the rivet site, which doesnt look bad...but hey, if u can get it smooth with a good mould and just the right amount of tension on the rivets...hell why not
these new fenders have an exterior bevel. so u can see how it accentuates width (see near the tail lights), it does the same a little bit at the doors as well.....gangsta

with experience, this took us 3 hours to do. it helped having a well made overfender and took alot of headaches with 'fitment' out of the equation
non-stretched out of the mould 50mm is better than a 30mm stretched to 50mm in terms of 'how wide' and 'how much' u can clear.
u can see from the pic that the rear of the side skirt is returned back to original body, thus, showing more tread at the bottom and accentuating the wideness of the car.....
OMG: i no longer reign in the hella flush district....i know i know.....kev not being flush? hell's freezing over, hitler's walkin the earth now. jew's.....go get him lol.
u know its not gunna be left like this. with camber clean and spacers to my calculation. ill get it back. some may even like it as it is from the shots. but this wheel fitment IS NOT good enough. and i expect to the fellow nissan members to follow suit.
i dont wunna hear any soft bullshit excuses....'comb ur bear i dont wunna hear that shit'
