Unhappy RPM dancing...

at cold start.. it dances at 450 to 1k (back and fourth)...

my A/F is at 10.0 and dropping... did a couple of tests yesterday to see what was wrong...

checked cylinder compressions..... normal
intake leaks...................... none
serviced distributor box.......... no avail
plug cables & timing........... normal
changed ECU................ no avail
spark plug............... it was running sohc plugs* (wtf!!?) replaced it but to no avail (wankers that transplanted the engine for me last time does these dumb shit to me all the time which is why i dun go to them anymore.. it pisses me off when i find these things being done to my car... but that's another story)

i'm going back on sat to do more tests coz it took them the whole day to do those tests (had to wait till the car cools down after evry test to see if it's fixed) anyone has any ideas what could be wrong with it?

thanks boys.. will check on those.. it's friday and the situation is getting worse... now even when it's warm it sometimes drop to below 500rpm.. there was one instance when it fell till it stalled!... sigh... i think it's most prob the throttle body and i'll have to get the EK4 or the EK9 one coz apprently it dun have the IAC valve... but i should know tomorrow.. will post details and maybe some pics
