Good shit. Who'd have thought that oil would make that much of a difference. I don't know if the price tag of royal purple will pursuade me to buy it for my everyday car, but my talon could very well get some.

I've thought about buying Royal Purple for a number of years now ever since I saw it being used on Horsepower TV on Spike. I've seen Joe, Chuck, and Mike use it in cars just for dyno testing and thought it was just a fluke, but now with different tests from a different tester, I am definatly more convinced on the performance of this product. I'm just wondering what negative effects it will have on the SI being that is has 113k on the clock. We shall se when oil change time comes around.

my guess is it will do the same thing my car does with thinner oils, shoot it out the exhaust and leak it out the oilpan/rear main

replace the gaskets before the oil change then if thats whats gonna happen jon. one thing you may notice is your valves will make noise. when i switched to full syn. i had to have a valve adjustment done. it plays hard with yoru valve seals and shit.
