engine swap help please

hi i have a 96 dx coupe and my D16Y7 motor went dead on me i scraped it wish i didnt now.but cant change the past. anyways someone is giving me a D15b2 but it has a A6 head on it.my question is what will i need to make this work in my car its going to be used till i build another motor im thinking of building a D16Y8 or getting a D16Y7 and doing a mini me swap for the compression.but intill then what will i need to make the D15b2 with the a6 head work in my car. like what ecu,harness (any wiring needed done),intake, which motor mounts i need and such .any helpful replys would be very greatfull thanks to all tuner-junction your member MIKE

You should use the D16Y7 intake manifold, injectors, distributor (i believe it will bolt up) and o2 sensor along with the y7 ecu. Um.. with that setup it should run good, a little rich (1.6L ecu on a 1.5L) but it will run.

I think that's it. I might of missed something though.

thanks njn63 man i sooo suck i scraped my y7 when i took it out .i do have the ecu and injectors though.but should be easy to get a y7 dizzy and intake with all the mini me swaps..i hope lol

nah, the b2 should be fine.

There is probably 100 different ways to go about this really. What i said earlier was just based on the assumption you had those parts laying around. You'll for sure need an obd2 distributor and 4 wire o2 sensor but beyond that i think all the sensors are the same.

It may even run with the b2 intake manifold but i'm not making any guarentees haha.
