Clutchless Shifting

i did a little experimenting tonight and realized i can do it

its alot like double clutching... just no clutch....

i noticed i had to let off the gas...then apply it smooth to get the car out of gear nicely

then just rev match to the next lower gear or higher gear and shift....

crazy thing is the sycros meshed nicer then they do normally... i guess thats because i was being extra carefull

correct me if im wrong but clutchless shifting does not damage anything if done properly?

Obviously you have not been reading your book goran.. It says no clutchless shifting.............. Your not a f1 car that needs to race with the rest of the race because the clutch is out so you need to clutchless shift............There is no reason whatsoever you should be doing this..........But it can be done.............at your own risk. Also been proven its not faster than clutch shifting.

Not if you have dog rings
But yeah, if you do it correctly it will not damage anything, I never use the clutch to come out of gear if I am coming to a stop, as soon as you go from acceleration to coasting is when you need to take it out of gear, that is when the snycro is unloaded

I do it. Mostly because Iiii am too lazy to push in the clutch
8 years of driving delivery truck will give you plenty of practice though
