Obd issues

My bud decided that he's gonna put a b18a in his 94 civ ex. He's gonna chip his ecu and run uberdata cause later on he want's to go ls/vtec. He's got everything on the hardware end that he needs. What i'm worried about is the whole injector thing. The ones on the B are obd0. Can you put the injectors and rail from the Z6 on the B?

i thought a b18a was OBDI?

If he is putting a complete B18a in, it should come with the intake manifold, fuel rail and injectors.

He can put the z6 injectors on the b18 but i'm not sure the fuel rail will fit. But afaik the z6 injectors WILL fit the b18a fuel rail.

Or he could use the ones that came w/the b, and wire up the resistor pack, and they'll work fine.

you can get them at radio shack i believe. It's needed for peak and hold injectors.

since the injectors are low impedance, you need something to bring the impedance of the circuit up, so the ecu can control the injectors.

It is a lil box that should look something like this (in stock form)
