How does the Crome 2-step work?

Like.. how do you activate it? Is it always activated if you're at 0mph or do you have to flip a switch. Was thinking about it today at work and realized you wouldn't be able to do burnouts if you couldn't control when it was activated.

I don't know the answer to that. I don't do burnouts if I can help it, I like my tires to last. I think you'd have to turn it off manually with a new flash or through an ostrich.

2 step are always active when you have them in place. Their function is to help prevent burn outs and help you lanuch better, you really cant hook it up to a switch since it's program in the ECU you would need to turn it off thru an ostrich or re burn the chip.

i'm aware of the function of a 2-step. I just didn't think about the way Crome keeps it activated at all times until today. I've played aroudn with my dad's car which has an MSD one that can be activated/deactivated when you want.

the two step is activated at 0mph at whatever rpm you told it to. You cannot turn it off unless you go through the program to turn it off.
