Walbro 255 HP pump - Warning
If you get this pump I would advise you to keep atleast a 1/2 tank of gas in the tank if possible. This pump is the high pressure version and will not run when there is low fuel in the tank.
1/4 tank of gas you better be near a gas station. I figured this out the hard way and had to push my shit in 90deg summer heat.
I would suggest you go with the NON HP 255 pump over this one, they preform the same for what most of us will require out of a fuel pump.

the high pressure pump is only needed if you using high fuel pressure like 90+ for a long period of time other then that the standard 255 walbro will be perfectly fine.

Whats the need for the higher fuel pressure from the pump over the regular 255 walbro on a street car?

the ONLY reason for a HP pump on a street car is if you using an FMU to fuel a boost setup and you either A) have a large ratio disk in there like 12:1 and are running like 10 PSI of boost or B) trying to runn super high pressure becuase your too cheep to buy the correct size injectors and something to control them with..
if either of these apply to you then your already cutting entirely too many corners let alone all the other corners that you probably cut. We your engine explodes or your fuel lines bust dont ask why =P
