Formula D Round 3 Chicago pictures/results

Results:
1. Samuel Hubinette (Mopar Viper)
2. Rhys Millen (Red Bull GTO)
3. Tyler McQuarrie (RS-R S2000)
4. Vaughn Gittin Jr. (Falken Mustang)
I kinda figured Formula D would have results up on their site but they don't. I remember the top 4 off the top of my head.
2nd round:
Kenji Yamanaka vs. Tyler McQuarrie:
Taka Aono vs. Rhys Millen (all the pictures i had that had Taka in it didn't come out well):
Tanner Foust vs. Vaughn Gitten Jr.:
Calvin Wan vs. Samuel Hubbinette:
Semi-Finals:
Millen vs. McQuarrie:
Hubinette vs. Gittin Jr:
Battle for 3rd:
McQuarrie vs. Gittin Jr:
First run was kinda close. On the 2nd one Tyler was all over Gittin Jr and nearly passed him in the last 2 corners. Well deserved 3rd to
Finals:
First run Hubinette spun out on some water that drained off from the concessions.
After some deliberation they decide to redo it because he probably couldn't see it.
Next run is very close, they call it even.
Last run, Rhys spins out entering the big corner. They go through the tape and find out that Sam was more than a car in front of the pacing cone so they could re-run them again but Rhys graciously conceeds. Major respect for that.

cool pics........iono but i just dont feel any of those cars.....i wouldnt even waste the time in taking one if i had an option to have one for free (i would take to sell if anything)
dont get me wrong tho im not just bag'n the yanks.....i dont like any australian DA series cars either...

I thought it was at first too but it's OHC and doesn't have coilpacks. Plus the intake manifold is like nothing i've seen for an ls1. |
