boro style: this style is often referred to as the ‘junk look’…the no love/care attitude some drifters have towards their slide weapons…with mis-matching rims, patchy paint work either from small touch ups from love tapping other cars during tandem runs or hitting the armco a few too many times and as many zipties as one front/rear bar can handle in order to keep it from falling apart…these drivers like the driven look at little too much



dark style: this is the main ‘look’ of most drift cars…keep under the radar night crawlers that prowl the streets…they mainly rock subtle or in some cases factory rims - 16, 17 or 18’s…very limited amount of stickers if any…subtle kits and the removal of stock spoilers/wings…interior wise they normally contain a race bucket seat amongst a almost stock interior…this style comes under the ‘sleeper’ look




flash/vip style: this is the glitz and the glam look of drift…a lot of ideas have come from the vip look…with often big budget rebuilds, with wide bodywork/kits, super-low ground work, extreme deep dish rims with a wildly low offset…overfenders and other custom work can be seen a lot with these types of cars…while most are extreme sliders there is also a lot of slammed posers




pro style: bodykits and carbon bonnet/wings are common in this big league budget…with stickers galore and usually sickly (throws up) team paint jobs…most of the pro D1 have traditional hard-tuned street looks…with no smaller than 18 inch wheels and sometimes 19’s wrapped in expensive rubber and the interiors are normally stripped with the bare essentials aka roll cage, bucket seat and steering wheel

personally i like the dark/boro style, i like the sleek and simple look, but a few dings and scratches are alowable, and a cracked bumber or something isnt a bad thing

i like a mix between the first and second. I know someone has a sig (here or the other forum) of a white trueno with a tsunami wave painted on the front and zip ties holding the bumper on. That car is the hotness. Ill try to find the pic.
