Eggum Racing's trailer broken into

I know this isn't going to do much good, but if you Chicago area guys hear anything let them know. I really doubt whoever did it will be able to hide it considering all the parts are way too big for a street car.

Quote:
To anyone in the Elgin area or Northwest Chicago suburbs:

Eggum Racing's stacker trailer was broken into last night. Tons of items including a spare GSR race motor, Weld wheels, Precision Turbo 74mm ball bearing turbo, OmniPower struts & springs, 16v battery, Precision Turbo 70mm turbo, Precision Turbo injectors, NGK spark plugs, tools, etc... was stolen.

These parts are only usefull to someone w/ a full on race car and will most likely be sold.

If anyone here's of such items trying to be moved in the near future any information would be greatly appreciated.
A full list of the stolen items will be posted later today.

These parts are all of our spares and could keep us from finishing the remainder of the season if they're not recovered!

Thanks,
Stephanie

i'm sure it was locked but trailers usually aren't too hard to break into. I'm kinda suprised they didn't just take the entire thing though.

errrr... trying to hide a huge trailer vs. parts/motors... stackers aren't exactly small. besides, maybe it would change the charges from larceny to something else if they got caught.

True, plus driving it around town would be kinda obvious. But it'd only take 2 minutes to steal the entire rig vs. lord knows how long to take everything out of the trailer.

Who cares though really, it sucks either way and i hope they get their shit back.
