Has anyone ran/seen bracket at BOTI?

I'm really debating going to 66 and running it. I know my car is consistant enough to do it, the only part that is a hangup is the driver. Last time at the dragstrip though i ran 15.56-15.62-15.52 in 3 straight runs. Doesn't sound that great but the 62 was an experiment with shifting different (at 7k) and i'm pretty sure i messed with tire pressure in there too. I'm not sure how great i can be on the tree but i know i can get sub .100 lights consistantly if i'm trying.

Only thing i'm wondering is.. is it like i saw at Nopi 2 years ago where it's a bunch of people that don't understand bracket racing running in it and breaking out while ahead by 5 cars? If so i really need to go run this.

It all depends..there are ppl who know about it and there are ppl who are dumbasses...u can win if you want...you need to be on target on every run..bracket racing is pretty easy if you do it right..as once you know what you and your car is capable of doing. know what time u run you should be in good shape..
Just make sure u dont mis shift or fuck up at the line..

Yeah, i have lots of bracket experience (my dad has been running bracket for 30 years) so i know how the class works. All of the events i've ran have been street car events so i havn't even been trying on the tree.. sad part is me "not trying" is better than 1/2 of the pros in NDRA are cutting in eliminations.

I got a few weeks to think about it. I'm confident in the car running the dial-in, just worried about the tree. I've only had 9 runs down the strip total in the CRX... but i'm sure there isn't going to be any crazy bracket racers showing up at an Import event anyways.

.132 light and he was in the finals? Running 1-2 tenths off and you're in the finals? Fuuuuuuck.

biggest advantage you can give yourself while bracket racing..is to be good on the tree...because i do bracket racing exclusively..and there are very few people who are good/consistant on the tree..thats your biggest advantage. second is making sure your car is consistant..too many people over estimate their cars and cant hit the tree..so you have a big advantage..unfortunate incidents have fucked me at the last two events..i was the most dominate car in the brackets but got fucked by stupid shit..oh well..there is always next time
