Just for background, here was my last trip:
went to the track for the first time
Only differences from that is the obd1 conversion and i pulled out my spare tire/jack this time.
Get to the track and get teched in. Drop the tire pressure to 25psi. Talk to my friend with a GTi VR6 (MKIII i think?) and he said he ran a 15.0 earlier. After hearing that i'm hoping the track is fast tonight.
First run, pull around the water box and try preloading the car and fuck that up. Cut a mediocre light and still beat him to the top end running 3 tenths slower.

1/8 mph- 69.55
1/4 et- 15.8657
1/4 mph- 88.41
Not bad, at least it's a 15 finally. Next run do the exact same thing and run a 15.68. Drop the tire pressure to 23psi and shifted from 3->4 at 7200 instead of running it out in 3rd and it paid off some.

Next run i tried shifting at 7000 rpm instead of 7500. Had a 2.34 60' and ran slower (15.62). Figured i'd park my car for a while because i was sick of waiting in the staging lanes. Pulled back into the staging lanes about midnight and got to race a Lincoln Mark VIII. Actually did a burnout this time because there was about 500 idiots on the starting line watching a money race before me and i couldn't get around the water. It might of paid off? Not sure.

Now for the always fun stories:
-Stephanie Eggum was down there with her outlaw fwd Civic. Shutting it off early she ran a 9.05@110 and a 8.90@127 haha. I found her myspace and her best time with the car is an 8.23@183. I think all the Mustangs were hiding in their trailers.
-Some trashballs in wal-mart fubu gear walked by my car and said something about "Dang Joe, should race this piece of shit. Oh my bad man" of course knowing that i was there. Not knowing what they had, i didn't want to call them out so i just laughed.
A 1/2 hour later i see the same idiots all around this 90-93 Accord and realize that's what they're driving and only 2 of them could actually afford a car. I laugh and yell to my friend with the GTi that it's cool that they brought their mom's car out. Then of course they ask me if i want to race them. I laugh because i know they either have a bottle hidden or are just that stupid. Turns out they were just that stupid because they lost a race later with a Mercury Capri for $20.
Oh, and they asked my friend with the GTi to pop his hood and he told them "i'm kinda busy right now" and continued talking to some friends.
Oh, and the other kid they were with? Silver Integra with integra type r badges from pep boys and... a B18B. Sweeet.
-My bro ran 15.7 with a almost stock GSR (has exhaust)
