Planning a Tuner-Junction trip to Raceway park in Englishtown, NJ - Tuner-Junction

Many of you know I am NOT into drag racing, however I'm dying to see what RIO will do at the strip.

So, I want to put together a day where we can all get together at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. I'd like someone with some experience at this track to take the lead and get back to me with some dates and we'll get this thing rolling.

I plan on this being the first of MANY planned get togethers on Tuner-Junction for the Northeast and I encourage any other members/moderators to get things going in their areas as well.

After this we're taking the party to a real track......... Watkins Glen!!!!

Im not into drag racing either, but Id drive down to jersey for a meet. I mean, Im only in CT

where ever you want to go to e-town. I onyl live about 30 minutes anway.
Do you want to go on the weekend or do you want to go on a wednesday nite which is a test-n-tune night. The only thing about the weekend is that If you go on a friday or saturday night its going to be streetnight which they set your db's from the exhuast. You have to be under the the set limit or then they say you are to loud.
The test-n-tune nights r open muffler nights.

Well here the deal........ My job sucks!!! I'm working the next 3 weekends in a row (including Easter), and when I have to work weekends I don't get time off during the week. So basically that mean I'm working 21 days straight!!

So it looks like we won't be able to go until May and when we do go I think either Wednesday or Saturday morning is the time to do it.

Choices are:
Wednesday May 3rd we have to be there starting at 5:00PM (test & tune)
Friday May 5th we have to be there at 5:00PM (street night)

Wednesday 10th again starting at 5:00PM (test & tune)
Friday 12th 5:00PM (Street night)
Saturday 13th Session 1 starts at Noon (looks like we can run but we will get mixed in with some corvette and GTO event)

Let me know what you guys think.

I can go to any of these dates..soo its up to everyone else and there schedule.
our best bet is to go on wednesday or friday night..the saturday one will be kind of crazy..we wont be able to get much runs in...there goin to stop us from time to time for the corvette challenge.
I like going on wednesday's..there are all types of cars that night.

im in ny and i wanna get in on this but it would have to be a weekend day. weekdays i work from 9 - whenever i finish. min time for me to finish is 6pm so ide miss the test and tune portion with a bit of the racing. weekend would be the best and anyweekend will do.
