theyre defenately fast for what they are. it just cost alot of money to make em faster compared to an import. yes i know it has the yamaha engine, but its still a taurus. that engine has so much more potential in a lighter car. ive only seen it done a few times. i seen it in a few probes, and a festiva. dont get me wrong, i like SHO's...im the reason type r mike ever had one or even knows what they are, so dont think im hatin.

imo...if you like the look of a taurus, get an sho. yes theyre awesome cause theyre a big ass, peppy from the factory car. but, the 89 and 90 run 15.2. stock 4th gen lide vtecs run a stock 15.1. thats not bad. get a jdm h22, get some mods and already your into the high 14's with minimal work. get a teg with a gsr or type r swap. get a civic hatch with an h22. ya know. i know you personally outside from this forum. i know youd rather have an import then a big ass clunky semi fast car. i know youve ben talkin about gettin (or finding) a good condition 2 dr accord, or an integra. GO FOR IT! youll love it. when that vtec cracks, youll love it.

i know, but you cant deny that when the runners switched over, and the secondary injectors kicked, that car moved, and fast...

yes...but let me put it to you this way. you know whats wrong with my car right now. weve discussed it. i would have no problem keeping up with that sho EVEN with my egr not working (throwing a cel), since my cel is on its dumping a shit ton of fuel so it doesent ping, and with a vtec soleniod code, so vtec doesent hit.

Take a look at Nissan Maxima's man. They are right up there.
I had a 1992 SE, VTC, Variable Intake runners, 190hp/190tq stock.
I know of one guy in Mass. who has a T4 turbo on his and hittin 400hp/450tq.
3.0L V6 in a ~3000lb car. It's a fun ride. The 1989-1992 had 4-wheel independent suspension and there are quite a few options for suspensions.

yes there is, thats why the most desired engine for that car (which is actually faster) is the V6's. the most desired sho's are the 89 and 90's.

Some guy on a forum here in St. Louis has a turbo SHO motor swapped into his Focus. It's not tuned yet but it's going to be pretty neat.

I'm an idiot and I can't figure out how to host pictures, lol and I'd have to go thru like 20 pages to find his pics cause they are posted in some random thread. Sorry I'll try to get some if I can figure it out.
