The SVT Contour is my dad's car.... I get to drive that a lot too.
The car is running well. I need to do a tune up soon, plugs, wires, valve cover gasket, oil change, temp sensor o-rings, and brakes.

Getting a Diablo Predator for tuning very soon, ordered that today. Going to be installing HIDs very soon as well as a few other fun mods in the near future!

how are the contours? are they FWD?
hows the focus....i kinda like the SVT focus......however i really dislike some of thwe body shape to the focus....but i really really really dislike the taillights. but cool car non the less....how much the SVT's go for?

HID's are in my office waiting for some warm weather to put them on with my MS-Design (German) grille.
Fender bender?? Just making sure I don't get hit. It's the only way we can fit 4 cars into our driveway.

The SVTC is FWD. ~200hp 185 ftlbs. Its fun and the fact. exhaust sounds phenomenal.
The SVTf is a lot of fun. I am getting it tuned soon, should help a few ECU quirks. There are a lot of body things you can do if that is your game. I was into a Nissan maxima for my last car, so a nice coupe/hatch was a nice change. I am thinking of blacking out the taillights to match the windows better.
The prices on them are coming down. You can pick a 2k2 up for ~10-12 and a 2004 goes for up to 16 unmodded. If it has FI, then expect to pay 2-4k more.
You can actually find a few still with very low mileage. I have had this one for a year, I picked it up with 19,500miles on it and am only up to 31,500miles now on a 4 year old car.

Nice car.. I owned a 2003 SVT Focus in the nice blue for a short time before I let it go for reasons I would not like to discuss, but engine was great and car handled pretty damn good for a FWD car, one of the best FWD handlers i've driven.

Nah, it is a Duratec 2.5L V6.
