Damn if i wasn't wanting one of those real bad the day before yesterday. That's wierd. Those things can be mighty quick if you build it right. Those came stock with what 235 horsepower and like 250 torque, or something dumb. All you need is some good flowing heads to bring up the N/A power and some extra gear in the back and a 100 shot and you're into the 12's. Nitrous is a whole lot better on 5.0's than on imports. Cause the block is made of iron it can take tremendous amounts of abuse. They kind of remind me of a crx's big brother. idk Hit me up for some knowledge if you want. I used to be real into 5.0's so i know a little about what i speak.

I'm actually making a move to buy this 89 LX 5.0 near me that a guy is selling for 1500. The whole car could use some tlc. I'll keep you guys updated. If i do get it, the first mod i make to it, after maintenance, will be some 4.10 or 4.56 gears. After that i think some OTTO R seats. Saw em at the HIN show and they're nice, plus they're cheap. Then some bolt-on's and maybe nitrous.

4.10s are over kill let alone 4.56s, I wouldn't go anything more than 3.73s if your gonna do much driving on street with it, maybe 4.10s but 4,56 I have 3.55s in mine.
