for the past couple of weeks i have been noticing that everytime i push the clutch pedal in, its getting sticky and kinda stick. well tonight as i was coming home, i came to a red light, pressed the clutch pedal in, and tried to put it into 1st gear, i had to almost force it in, and when i let out the clutch pedal, it was real stiff and sticky. anything i should do about it?

Sounds like maybe your throw out bearing is sticking on the pilot shaft. If thats the case the only way to fix it is to pull the trans and replace it, or clean it and reinstal, but as long as its apart i would replace it. You could also check the arm on the trans that actuates the fork for the throw out bearing maybe its dirty or rusty there i have seen that happen also, if thats the case buy some good penetrating oil and spray it down good, or check the cable itself it could be dirty ,rusty ect.

WELP. yesterday my clutch went lol release bearing for sure...so now i need a new clutch cause it might of shattered inside. so now hopefully this weekend saturday morning, we're gonna do the engine swap on my crx. cant wait.

well i got my cavey fixed, turns out there was more wrong done to it, so here it goes:

syncro fork for the tranny was bent to shit
the whole clutch assembly was done, clutch plate shattered to pieces, the flywheel cracked.
slave cylinder went on it as well, thats why it was sticky and stiff.

1100$ later
including parts and labor
