problem with my laptop

so i just got my laptop about a month ago, and as soon as i got it, there were already problems. i installed warcraft 3 and after that, i couldnt open anything. so i reinstalled windows and that seemed to help, but now it takes forever to load my computer when i turn it on. my question is, should i keep it and try and work with it and see if it gets better? or should i just say fuck it and return it? i bought it from costcos website

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...nav=&brows e=

what you guys think i should do?

It would be easier to return it than to troubleshoot it.

yah thats what i was leaning towards, but it seems like a hassle to return it and then get another one and wait, but prolly not as much of a hassle as trying to troubleshoot it.

Sometimes even after a OS full reinstall, you feel the computer/laptop too slugish you can check that the heat dissipator of the CPU is correctly attached to it, if its loose it can cause the problem you are having right now.... it could be so many things... i would return it ASAP

It will be more hassle to have a laptop that is not working properly than having a one that IS working properly

By any chance did you change anythings in the BIOS? Like boot speed.
I would try and set the BIOS back to defult. And see if it helps.

You said that that it's slow. Where is it slow at the windows screen or when your already in windows and takes a while for icons to show ex...

i just wound up returning it today and am gonna get a new one right now. i just noticed, my hard drive was 4200rpm so that could have been a factor in some of the slowness.

^^^^it was slow everywhere. it loaded the icons fine, but then if i tried openeing em, no dice. also if i went to the start menu, and moved the cursor over programs, nothing would show up. it was ridiculous that i had to reinstall windows after having it 2 weeks so i said fuck it and returned it. im gonna get the same one but this one is gonna have a 5400rpm hd and a couple other things i noticed needed improvement.
