weird software problem
what the fuck? i had limewire and it was great for me for like 8 months and 2 days ago after i exit out of it, about 30 seconds later it starts up by itself and did that every 30 seconds for the next like 10 minutes until i uninstalled it. re-installed a newer version did the same thing. installed Morpheus and Kazaa, both did the same thing. WTF!!

sounds like it might not be the software. have you scanned for a virus? try virus scan and also a spyware scan. then try again.

yeah...it's weird though, that's the only time like EVER that something goes wrong on the comp it keeps starting up...but nothing ever happens when i watch any of the movies or anything...weird

spyware doctor...and thats about it....it didnt find much and what it did, it deleted....and then i tried installing both limewire and morpheus - same shit again

kiba gave you a very good combination. update then run ad-aware then quickly right after update and run spybot search and destroy. they work great together. run an anti virus right after.

go to your start bar and go to "RUN" type in "MSCONFIG" Under tab "startup"

you can safely uncheck anything I just usually leave my AIM and firewall stuff running on there
