Im editing a dvd together and windows movie maker is way easier to use but I heard a lot of good things about adobe premier. Anyone have personal experiance with both and can comment on which one is better?

I strongly recomend steering away from windows media maker. I was making a video a while back. The options are limited and way to cliche for creativity.

I also had numerous shutdowns of the program because of faults in the coding.
I lost my progress numerous times and it was very, very frustrating.

If you do decide to go with WMmaker make sure and save your work everytime you think of it. WMmaker will get the job done.

But I highly recommend Adobe over the windows program anyday. Adobe is a bit harder to learn and takes more computer knowledge somewhat. It is much more versitile though.
