Metal Gear Solid 2 - Son's of Liberty

OK...this game is super old. I bought it in 2001 and I played it for like a week and then I thought I lost the game. It mysteriously reappeared 2 weeks ago and I started playing again. I just finished it last night. This was the first "Metal Gear" game I have played and let me tell you. This thing has some serious Political over-tones to it. I mean, damn!!! The first thing I told Karen is...."I think they are trying to brain wash kids into being paranoid about the government" Are all of the "Metal Gear" games like this?

Any of you guys ever finish this game and have actually sat through the dialog towards the end??

yes all of them were like this. They got worse once they carried over to the playstation. The nes ones were a lil simpler for obvious reasons. MGS 2 had my head spinning and i played through it about 4 times. MGS 3 is crazy you should pick that up. You get to eat snakes and stuff. Plus you start the game ass naked. Extremely political and just wait till mgs4 comes out for the ps3. i can only imagine. GREAT SERIES FTW.

Yep, the stuff at the VERY end is usually the most exciting, gives you insight on what the deal was with anything that happend throughout the game.

Yes MGS2 is quite politically driven, but still one of my very favorite games.
