hows the game over all? anything like hte first one or is it the first one with new story and some tweeks here and there? or is it like completely redone using the old characters.

good game overall

it's actually a sequel to chain of memories for the gba which was a sequel to the original KH

continuation of the story with some new characters thrown in and different Disney characters used. Better battle system (more intuitive imo and you can control the camera) and they even made the gummi ship part bearable (it still feels out of place tho)

The one thing I don't like is the tournaments the baddies don't give up exp like they did in the first and in the worlds you have to run (more or less) from one end to the other to get them to respawn so it makes levelling up slightly more challenging than it was in the first but that can be good and bad-also I don't think the bosses give up exp either I remember in KH1 I would normally get a level when I took down a boss but not here.

im an exp whore. any rpg i play i stick around in the town to level up before i run through the place. Im deff gonna pick it up and i hate the gummi ship. never bothered with it. just seems stupid imo. almost like we have nothing better to fill the space with so lets annoy everybody with something they probably wont use.

thats not true the gummi ship has a purpose... soo you can drift it to other world! ROFL

yeah over all I love the game, great fun. Leveling can get tedeous sometimes especially doing forms. Since the worlds were soo linear its hard to get hte "finding shit" exp I usually get in FF games that keeps me at high levels all the times (I never run from fights.) but over all fun game not too much replay valve if you play on proud mode and don't care about the stupid journal.

I just left hallow bastion after i got the first form. Good place to level up?? how to level the forms?

Valor Form- number of times you hit enemies while in it
Wisdom form-Number of heartless you kill while in it
Master Form-Number of Drive orbs you collect while in it
Final Form-Number of Nobodies you kill while in it

For Valor Wisdom and Master the Land of the Dragons is great because all the fireworks carts give off drive orbs when tey blow up and some of the enemies can take a few good hits but not too many to make it hard to level up

For Final Form (late in the game) what I did was go to Yen Sids Tower and start running up the stairs as soon as nobodies appear go into the form and take out as many as possible once you revert fight the rest of the way to the top of the tower and use the save point to go to the world map and go to the Coliseum enter the cerberus cup and then quit immediately your drive guage will be full and you can go back to the tower. Takes a few hours but I maxed out my final form and gained a few levels for my party at the same time.

Thanks for that. that will come in useful. i am actually going to restart the game in proud mode. normal is just way too easy. plus i want the full cinematic ending plus the secret without having to do jiminy's log book. i havent looked at the thing once yet.is there a way to get the drive bar filled quicker?

nope when you leveling forms you'll end up using drive guage glitches.

Try and find a place where you can get to a save point that letss you back to the gummi ship, level in form until your guage is about to run out then port up to the gummi ship WHILE still in the form when you come back down your guage will be full.

Yen Sids tower + final form + chain thunder magic = quick leveling hehe magic combo owns LoL

you may want to play a little more before you restart. The beginning was pretty easy for me too but as you get into it it does get harder (still the only fight I had any real problems with was Sephiroth)

completing jiminy's journal isn't too bad maybe a bit tedious but not really bad at all

just remember that in the coliseum matches where you need a certain score to completew the journal stich and thunder magic are your friends

Too late i already restarted in proud mode. More enemies per fight which i find great. leveling up is easier in proud mode and they re appear faster and in more quantity. Its still not that hard. Im more hack and slash type player so i tend to fly through fights taking out as much as humanly possible in the fastest amount of time. so far im back up to beast castle. after that when you go back to merlins house did you do hundred acre woods or did you go right to olympus stadium?

I did all the hundred acre woods at once but I did go ahead and get the book back and start the sequence but I didn't actually play any of the mini games till much much later

I am now at level 99 overall (maxed)
level 7 for all my forms and summons (maxed)
all my other characters are at level 99 (maxed)
Got Fenris in my right hand and Ultima in my left in Final Form (best keyblades in the game)
I just have to beat the Hades Paradox cup with 15k points or more and go fight the last battle. HPC was giving me trouble at level 93 Tifa kicked my ass bad in round 10 of 50 so this should be interesting

I'm just curious as to whre I should be as fas as leveling up goes, I just finished Space Paranoids the first time, and I'm at a level 25 base and level 2 valor, levle one wisdom and master, does this sound right or am I not doing somehting right. I'm about 20 hrs in........plz help me level up more thanx
