sound problems
my sound worked all fine and dandy till one day i get no sound watching vids unless it is the realplayer, wmv, or quicktime, all other vid players get no sound, what could be wrong?
i dont know computers sorry  |

double click the speaker icon and make sure all the volume levels are up cuz sometimes you can lower certain file type volumes by mistake. happened to my bro's computer the other day.

Pick a player you like that works; find a file right click, open with, choose program, (at the bottom you'll see aways open with. click it) select program and your done.
update driver might help!

take the left-hand side of your case off (opposite side to power supply)... u will see the mainboard inside ur case facing you...check on the board for any 'bold' letters or numbers e.g.

ok...i think from a quick search that 'A7NBX-E' is a ASUS board...however i cannot find any chipset drivers for it

another trick is...
> 'Right Click' My Computer icon
> 'Click' Properties
> 'Click' Hardware Tab
> 'Click' Device Manager
> Find 'Sound, video and game controllers'
*Does it have any yellow question marks next to the 'title'?
> 'Right Click' the 'Audio Controller' title and 'Select' Update Driver

oi nob head.. dL and update ur mainboard driver from here
the reason i couldnt find anything at first was because u must have read ur board wrong...instead of it being A7NBX-E your board actually says A7N 8X-E
hopefully this fix's the onboard sound card

i just had a prob with my players and i used

It's a coder that help read/play your files. Might help if you have not solved it yet.
