Just got the call - Tuner-Junction

Gamestop just called and said my copy of Kingdom Hearts 2 will be available tomorrow afternoon. They claim Charleston is not a big important cuty so the release date is always a day later here than everywhere else.

Went and paid for it today so all I gotta do tomorrow is go in and pick up my game and then spend an agonizing day at work waiting to play it.....that blows

I can't wait to find out how you manage to get Auron in your party

I've been looking forward to that for a few months now

and I just finished Dragon Quest yesterday so I'll be needing an RPG fix soonish

i like rpgs but never actually got into them except for a select few. kingdom hearts being on of them. never played dragonquest. but i loved the first kh and will get the second one. secret of man is probably my alltime fav along with final fantasy 7 and mario rpg secret of the seven stars.

well I went and picked it up and I gotta say damn the fact that I have to work....

haven't played it yet cause I know how these things run (1st hour=15 minutes of gameplay and 45 minutes of video) but when I get home tonight it's on

i still have yet to beat kingdom hearts. i got into it, and then stopped for some reason. the last thing i need right now is a game though, but maybe in the future ill have to check it out.

Well the Unholy Alliance between Square and Disney has paid off yet again from what I've seen.

Last night I played through the 4 hour tutorial which was actually done pretty well; it didn't feel like a tutorial at all (okay some of it did but overall it was good). The story is involving and there have been some slight improvements in the battle system (camera control) which make the game far more functional.

From looking in the strat guide that I got it looks like Sora has 5 forms he can morph into; Valor, Wisdom, Master, FInal and a "Dark" form which resembles the Shadow Sora from KH1. You tend to morph into the Dark form at random when you try to morph into other forms and it isn't very usefull but the Master and Final forms allow for duel keyblade action, which you get a brief taste of during the tutorial and it just leaves you wanting more-a lot more-it's fun.

So far the only problem is the game is a little cutscene heavy but that may just be because it's the beginning and they have a lot to explain.

In short go buy this game now. If you don't have a PS2 go buy one of those and get this game and a used copy of KH1 and play em in sequence.

another addition to the battle system that I forgot to mention in my previous post is the reaction command.

The reaction command pops up when you can examine something or talk to someone but it also pops up during battles against some opponents allowing you to slide behind the opponent, climb up to the damn things head and release killer combos against some.

I am loving this game I picked up yeesterday and can't stop playing. Right now I just unlocked and beat the first Under dome thingy, also tuned into anti-sora for the first time. Personally I wish that was a form you could chose it was awesome ROFL

just had an interesting near death experience...apparantly in some boss fights if you get ko'd you get the option to choose whether or not you want the game to end...if you choose no then king micky jumps in and whales on the boss until he builds up enough power to revive sora then he dips and the fight continues...he doesn't actually do any damage but it's still a neat little trick-his moves kinda remind me of Yoda's fight moves

yeah I turned into the shadow earlier too during a boss fight and it allowed me to whoop up on the boss in a big way-I kinda wish you could choose that one too...

I just opened up the pride lands so going to check that out then I got aghrabah and I got level up my wisdom form too, so much to do in this game.

yeah I have actually found that the best place in my opinion to level up your wisdom form is the land of the dragons they throw a lot of enemies at you and if you are at a high enough level then the enemies won't take more than a few shots each and you can easily get 15-20 per time you go into a form plus the fireworks carts give off drive spheres so you can refill with a quickness.

Disney Castle was great for leveling up Valor only because the baddies are unending before you finish timeless river so that works really well for the valor form which levels up based on how many times you hit an enemy

and yeah there is a whole lot to do in this game..the gummi ship part still sucks tho I was never a fan in the original so the new one is only a slight improvement in my mind.

yeah I actually used Land of dragons to level up Master form. Since you need to get drive spheres I went to the last camp between the summit and the place between them there is a small little camp of like 5 firework things, keep running in and out JUST destorying those. Got to max level (6 for me right now) in like 10 minutes and only had to transform like 3 times.

haven't got master form yet but I did max out valor and wisdom in Land of the Dragons and right now I'm at level 30 overall but only because the way I play involves a whole lot of leveling up I just finished Agrabah and the strat guide I bought says to go to Halloween Town next and then the pridelands after that.

I will say this much tho since I spent so much time leveling my forms in Land of Dragons-Mulan is starting to kick some serious ass...

I think I got like 2 of his lifebars off hahah

my strat guide says he has 3000 hp and you need to be around level 80 before you even try...

go somewhere with lots of high exp baddies and start running back and forth taking them down

yeah hes got 15 f***ing lifebars ROFL I think I'm gonna levle up around TWTNW and collect ultima weapon pieces at the same time.

when I finally beat that fucker in KH1 I was at level 95 had the ultima keyblade everything I had equipped raised my defense or attack the only spell I had equipped was cure and the main abilities I was using were the one where you keep one hp after a critical hit and the one where whaling on the baddies re-ups your mp oh and Ars Arcanum was my best friend it was the only way I could get more than one hit on him at a time.
